This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile app “שביל ישראל – משחק חידות ישראלי” (the “App”) collects, uses, and shares information. The App is provided by <Liav Kuperman> (“we”, “us”).

Summary

• Family-friendly puzzle game for a mixed audience (kids and adults). Extra safeguards apply for under-age users.
• We ask for a display name (free text, e.g., a nickname) to show in-app and save progress.
• We use Firebase (Authentication, Firestore/Realtime Database, Analytics, Crashlytics) and Google AdMob (ads). These providers may collect device/usage data.
• For under-age contexts we show non-personalized, families-appropriate ads and limit data collection.
• The App offers in-app purchases via Google Play Billing. We don’t handle full card details.
• We do not sell personal information.

Information We Collect

1) You provide

• Display name (free text you choose). Used to identify your profile (e.g., save/restore progress, leaderboards if applicable).

How We Use Information

• Operate the App (authentication, saving/restoring progress, showing your display name).
• Improve stability and features (analytics, crash diagnostics).
• Show and measure ads (AdMob). Under-age: non-personalized ads.
• Ensure safety, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

In-App Purchases & Payments

The App offers optional in-app purchases processed by Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store full payment card details; payments are handled by Google. After a successful purchase, we may receive and store limited transaction metadata from Google (e.g., order ID, purchase token, product ID, timestamps, country/currency) to deliver items, restore purchases, handle refunds, and prevent fraud.

• What we store: purchase token(s), product identifiers, and (if implemented) Google’s obfuscated account/profile ID for entitlement management.
• Use: grant/restore entitlements (e.g., ad-free, content packs), verify receipts, provide support, comply with tax/accounting laws.
• Sharing: Not sold. Shared only with service providers as needed (e.g., Firebase/our backend) or if required by law.
• Retention: kept as long as necessary to provide/restore entitlements and meet legal requirements, then deleted or anonymized.
• Subscriptions: managed via your Google Play account; refunds follow Google Play policies.
• Children & families: purchases require the device/account holder’s Google Play authorization. We never ask for card details in-app.

Mixed-Audience & Families Policy

The App is for a mixed audience (adults and children). We implement safeguards aligned with Google Play’s Families Policy and applicable child-privacy laws (e.g., COPPA where applicable):

• Minimize direct identifiers for children; collect only what is necessary.
• Configure AdMob for non-personalized ads and families settings for under-age contexts.
• If age-screening is used, users identified as under-age receive restricted data collection and families-appropriate ads.

Legal Bases (EEA/UK)

Where applicable, processing may be based on legitimate interests (basic analytics, security, crash diagnostics) and/or consent (e.g., personalized advertising where offered and allowed). You may withdraw consent in device settings or in-app controls where available.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share information with service providers (Google/Firebase/AdMob, and our cloud/analytics providers) to operate the App and as required by law or to protect rights.

Data Retention

• Display name & gameplay data: retained while your profile remains active or as needed to provide the App; deleted upon valid request or periodic cleanup.
• Analytics/Crash/Ads data: retained per Google/Firebase/AdMob policies.
• Purchase records: retained as needed for entitlements and legal obligations.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

International Transfers

Data may be processed in countries other than yours. Where required, appropriate safeguards are applied.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing. Parents can request review/deletion of a child’s information. Contact us to exercise these rights.
